Despite the current crisis, Eurotech keeps investing in its manufacturing plants. Very recently, investments were made in 2 new Okuma horizontal machining centers. One for Pezag in the Czech Republic, and one for Eurotech in the Netherlands.

The thought behind this is that in the Netherlands, more and more manufacturing will be done without an operator, and in the Czech Republic, most manufacturing is done in larger batches of the same item. The machine for the Netherlands is therefore optimally prepared for an FMS system. An FMS system makes it possible to automatically load machines, allowing manufacturing to be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
